Dr. Susan Little
Lead Science Writer
Dr.
Susan Little holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences/Biochemistry from the
James H. Quillen College
of Medicine at East
Tennessee State
University (ETSU). Four years of
postdoctoral research
followed in the
Biochemistry and
Physiology departments
at the University of
Kentucky, where she concentrated on
neuropeptides and cell cycle initiators.
Dr. Little has since transitioned into a career in scientific technical writing, which has included writing toxicological/human risk assessment documents for the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) in Atlanta. She currently works in the Department of Geriatrics and Gerontology at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine.
